What’s different now that Tokyo Marui has released their Gold Match variant? All-new serrations on the slide make for silky-smooth cycling. The updated design of the frame has a slanted profile and a picatinny accessory rail. They’ve made it so you can release the slide without taking your hand off the trigger. The red fibre front sight aids in the rapid acquisition of the target. The trigger, outside barrel, thumb safety, screws, and hammer are all gold-colored, making them stand out among the other features. As a bonus, this makes the Gold Match look more authentically like a Race Gun, even if it is just for show.

There isn’t much difference on the inside. Once the slide is taken off, you’ll see the hop-up. Accuracy-wise, Tokyo Marui is never going to let you down, but the Hi Capa, in any age group, is unrivalled. Hardly the hardest kick in the world, but highly quick, making it simple to refocus on the target after each stroke.
